Canyon Country Youth Robbed at Knife-Point

Friday - May 09, 2008 - 4:30 p.m. - Canyon Country:

Deputies responded to a robbery call near Whites Canyon Road and Nadal Street where a Canyon Country youth, M/16, reported that he was robbed at knife-point and his IPOD was taken.  The victim stated that two teenagers approached him and one, who was brandishing a switchblade knife, demanded that he turn over his IPOD.  Fearing for his safety, the victim gave the suspects his IPOD. 

Deputies checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.  The first suspect is described as a white male, blond hair, 17-18 years of age, 6'01" tall, weighing 150 pounds.  The second suspect is described as a male Hispanic, black hair, 17-18 years of age, 5'11" tall, weighing 150 pounds.  Anyone with any information regarding these suspects or this incident should contact the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff Station's Robbery Assault Team at (661) 255-1121.  The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information available at this time.  -ref 08238
